Position: 2nd shift-Dry and Chill Loader Location: Ontario, CA Type of business: Warehouse Shift: 6:00pm Wednesday and Saturday off Pay Rate: $16.50 ($17.00 for PM shift) Amazing Opportunity to get paid while giving back to our Armed Services. Job Description: The Loader/Unloader will manually or by hand truck move materials, supplies, and finished goods to designated places in the facility. Inside a temperature controlled warehouse AND refrigerated section of the warehouse. Requirements: Regular and prompt attendance at all times. Drive stand up forklift. Use of hand trucks and working with pallets Retrieve product. Handling different size boxes Use of equipment including Electric Double Pallet Jack. May require the use of other large equipment. Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: Must have experience using a stand up forklift Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs. and the ability to sustain heavy lifting over the course of the shift. Requires walking, standing, bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching above head and below knees, pulling, and lifting. Employee will be exposed to high heat working conditions, and extreme cold which may be below zero in certain departments that require special gear. Employee will be exposed to moving machinery in the course of the shift. This is a UNION position. Membership with Teamsters will be REQUIRED after minimum hours have been met and once hired by the client.
