I use a 16 channel/6 monitor Behringer XR18 mixer that I can tap into your rig. I do not own a PA system and I never have been or ever will be a roadie :) I have been a musician and engineer in the San Diego area since 1977. I ran sound for FX5 for many years on this system. I'm quick on the fly.. no full soundcheck required. I know how to tap in delays and when and when not to add effects. Just give me your inst/vocal rundown and I come with my mixer setup and ready to roll. I can also record your gig on 16 channels via a laptop and can do mix down for an extra fee. I also am very good at reading the crowd and playing the correct break music to keep them happy and dancing. My break DJ service is included with my fee. Fees breakdown pretty much like this. East County or nearby venues start at $75 to $100. North County $100 to $150 depending on how far north. Fee is always based on time and travel. How much is your piece of mind worth that you have a even clear thumping mix out front? I'm a musician.. I get it :) Also just to make this crystal clear I get paid when I show up to the gig... I'm not going to wait an hour after a gig for you to get your drunk ass paid :) If you can't pay me at the start of the gig I'll just go home and watch Bob's Burgers. Thanks for reading my spiel... and Rock On!
Oh and yeah I have two extra tablets I can supply for you to run your own monitor mix.. it's very simple to use and there is no way you can screw up the main mix :) If you have your own tablet you just need to upload the free Behringer X-air app (Apple or Android) I use a secure 3 antenna router so dropouts are never an issue. Your tablet must be 5Ghz wi-fi capable. I do not do original material bands... period.
