Cheney is being ousted because she no longer reflects the majority opinion of Republicans in the House of Representatives. Her position as Conference Chair was based on popularity which she's lost because she doesn't have the confidence of her conference after secretly orchestrated an unprecedented op-ed in the Washington Post by all ten living former Defense Secretaries, including her father, warning against Trump after election protest of the results. She didn't have the guts to attack Trump openly proving herself to be a coward and while there is so much to be fighting against the brutal Biden dictatorship she continues to complain about Trump, living in the past ignoring the present. The "traditional" Republicans are on the way out, Trump Republicans, Conservative Republicans are the current Republican Party, get use to it. Yes!!! Our republic is in great danger!!! Republicans are backing tyrant dictators like Trump and they are ousting respectable conservatives like Liz Cheney for disagreeing with Trump. This is fascism at its finest. Last time I checked, America was a free country. Every person had their right to their own opinion. Yet Liz Cheney is being crucified for having her own opinion. Republicans are working to remove our freedoms and constitutional rights. What is happening in the Republican part is nothing short of a dictatorship by a man who is not even in office anymore. America needs more leaders like Liz Cheney. Intelligent people with their own opinion and views. The Republican Party is working to silence independent thinkers. This effort to silence traditional republicans is strengthening the Democratic Party.
