General laborers needed to work in the waste disposal and site work/excavating industry. We are looking for General Laborers to take up manual labor tasks and support operations. One of the most important general laborer responsibilities is to collect trash, debris and other waste to keep the site clean and safe. This may include but is not limited to participating in trash collection routes and working at our transfer station separating recyclables, which is one of the main duties of this position. Other duties may include sandblasting and painting dumpsters. If you are physically fit and have the ability to lift heavy loads in a fast paced work environment, as well as being able to concentrate on performing your tasks and commit to safety rules and you’re also interested in doing tough but important work, we’d like to meet you. General laborer requirements: Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (standing for long periods of time, lifting heavy loads of up to 40 pounds, bending etc) Good hand-eye coordination Familiarity with power tools and machinery is a plus Communication and teamwork skills Commitment to safety rules Reliability Having a hydraulics license or the ability to obtain one is an asset We have full and part time positions available.
