According to a lawyer, it is perfectly legal to name people in a public forum who have ripped you off. So renters, contractors, friends, yardworkers, housesitters, etc can be publicly identified in forums as a way to warn the public. It just has to be 100% accurate and true or defamation could result. I have no problem with that. I want my things returned and money owed paid. People should know what you do to those who gave you a chance and trusted you.
