SEEKING DISPATCHER: Looking for someone with a strong work ethic, early riser, tech savvy, prompt, with good communication as well as logistical skills. Experience in a moving company is strongly preferred as well as a valid drivers license. Professional customer service is a must. Need a clear minded individual who can operate under potentially stressful situations. Being able to drive a 26ft truck is a big plus. Job description includes: -Communication between office staff/estimators regarding all scheduling of jobs. -Communicating with all clients scheduled to be moved on a daily basis for the following day, confirming all details. -Scheduling all necessary manpower ahead of time to complete all the jobs scheduled for the days of the week as well as making sure all the paperwork is ready prior. -Being early/ before scheduled time to open the warehouse, hand out paperwork to each individual foreman as well brief them on any specifics required on the job as discussed with clients prior. -Making sure the trucks are maintained regularly as well checked for any missing fluids, as well as making sure the packing supplies needed are inside the truck prior to being dispatched. -Making sure the warehouse is in order as well as logging where each clients location is in storage for intrastate shipments/storage. -Collecting payments for jobs via credit cards, as well as making sure the foreman do not make any mistakes on the bill. -Making sure the hours of the men are properly logged into the system on a daily basis.
