On October 3, 2021, the annual Harvest Walk & 5K at Mapleside Farms will feature a one-mile walk and 5K run! On October 3, 2021, the Annual Harvest Walk & 5K at Mapleside Farms will feature a 1 mile walk and 5K run to raise awareness and funds for kidney disease. Paid participants will receive a long-sleeve shirt and free admission to Pumpkin Village at check-in. Registration closes Thursday, September 30. Event day registration will be available, but prices increase. PACKET PICK-UP To avoid lines the morning of the event, packet pick-up is available on the following dates and times. Registrations can also be made at pre-registered prices at pick-up: Friday, October 1 9:00am – 3:00pm Kidney Foundation of Ohio office* 2831 Prospect Avenue E Cleveland, OH 44115 *Street parking is available until 3:00pm Saturday, October 2 9:00am – 1:00pm Mapleside Farms 294 Pearl Rd Brunswick, OH 44212 *Pick-up will be located inside the Bakery SCHEDULE OF EVENTS - SUNDAY, OCTOBER 3 8:00am – Check-in and event day registration begin 8:45am - Welcome Announcements 9:00am - One-mile walk & 5K kick off 10:00am – Closing Remarks & Pumpkin Village opens PARKING & DIRECTIONS Mapleside Farms is located at 294 Pearl Rd, Brunswick, OH 44212. Parking will be located in the gravel lots located north of Mapleside, on the west side of Pearl Rd. Follow signs and directions to registration, which will be located in the Cellar. All event day activities will take place in the Cellar and Lodge. If you are participating in the one-mile walk: Participants will be walking one-mile on a dirt, asphalt and gravel path. Strollers are permitted but may become difficult to push on gravel. The start and finish of the walk are on steep hills. There will be assistance on-site if participants have difficulty navigating the landscape. The Kidney Foundation of Ohio is committed to addressing the needs of all our participants, including those with disabilities. If you have a specific need, please contact the Kidney Foundation of Ohio prior to the event. Pets are not permitted (except registered service dogs). If you are participating in the 5K: Participants will be running on Mapleside Farms property. The race will take you on a cross country style run through the orchard. Strollers and pets will not be permitted. Pull-tag timing is used and participants receive a manually electronic recorded time. The top three male and female finishers will be awarded. COVID-19 GUIDELINES Masks are required at check-in and throughout all event day activities outside of the one-mile walk and 5K run. Social distancing protocols will be put in place, and we ask that all attendees follow any enter/exit signs, direction arrows, and guidelines being communicated by volunteers.
