A safe, vibrant, and liberated space *exclusively* for Black + Brown women where we celebrate our power, truth, beauty, and elevation. FemmeDomHood Featured Guest + Offering Facilitator Who We Are. An exclusive multi-disciplinary arts collective that centers the work and collaboration of Black + Brown unconventional creatives to provide feel good experiences for High-vibe Black and Brown communities, especially millennial identities, through diverse yearly installments. Currently based in Dayton, OH. FemmeDomHood Event Information. FemmeDomHood is an intersectional safe and liberated space *exclusively* for Black and Brown women where we celebrate the beautiful nature of what it means to be a woman living in her power, in tune with her highest self + constantly elevating. FemmeDomHood was created to remind women of their divine worth, spiritual being, + sensory relationships with the world around them, while simultaneously celebrating femininity + the blooming creativity that is ever present among us. Embracing the diversity that is present in womanhood ushers authentic analysis of how society + personal experiences have influenced who we become, increasing the capacity to achieve personal freedom through connection, acknowledgement + acceptance. Events in this installment series take the shape of various social high-vibe classes, workshops, reading series, empowerment sessions, wine downs, and more. This is our community. This is FemmeDomHood. This month's offering: We are excited to have our featured guest Tobi De'Ja Nicol Ewing, multi-disciplinary visual and healing artist and creative director of studio Beauty As A Metaphor, who is bringing her signature offering, Fierce + Fluid, to us! Fierce + Fluid combines yoga, dance, intuitive movement and sound healing for a unique experience to activate deep pleasure and embodiment. In the workshop, you will be guided through sacred movement and meditation to high energy music, ending with a divine, live, multi-instrument sound bath and collective reflection. (Training/teaching experience includes 200hr Yoga Teacher Certification and Meditation training- practicing for 5 years, 11+ years trained dancer and movement guide. Practices are Black led and aim to be spirit-led, trauma-informed and with YOU at the forefront.) PLEASE BRING A YOGA MAT AND ANY OTHER YOGA EQUIPMENT YOU MAY NEED FOR COMFORT. Are there ID, minimum age, or safet y requirements to enter the event? The age requirement for this gathering is 18 and up. You must wear a mask and we will ensure we are praciticing a safe 6ft social distance while in the space. What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event? There is FREE parking available at Genuine Work. Be sure to not park in a handicapped spot if you don't have the appropriate marker. What can I bring into the event? PLEASE BRING A YOGA MAT AND ANY OTHER YOGA EQUIPMENT YOU MAY NEED. You can alos bring to the gathering space a joyous, kind, and open energy and a level of transparency that you feel comfortable exploring. Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event? Yes, please bring your ticket via phone or printed copy. Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends? It is okay if you are going in place of someone who can no longer go OR if the ticket was bought as a gift for you. All other situations require the purchaser to be the event attendee.
