Ride along assistant . This job is open to men and women, because we need both. . To help with the removal of trash and junk from people's properties. There are plenty of good thing's and bad things about this job. . let me explain some of the good things about this job, before the asshole...I mean, "boss man", describes the bad part of this job. Driving, lots of driving. I enjoy driving and one of the great things about this job is that after you work for 30 to 40 minutes, you get to ride to the dump, which can be up to 45 minutes from the job and another 45 minutes back. Other good thing's, you get to see other areas of North Carolina, sometimes you find really cool stuff, some valuable. You get to work on you interpersonal skills/ customer service. 90% of the time you get paid every day. Lunch is free. And now all the bad stuff... Not all places we work are great, sometimes there are nasty basements. Most of our jobs are in the mountains, there are bears in the mountains, i haven't seen any, but they are there. Some days we have to leave at 5:30am and sometimes we don't get home until 9pm. $15 an hour I don't pay you to ride to and from work, because in some cases that would leave me paying you for 3 hours of riding...not going to happen. Dress code: no taking off your shirt during working hours, no clothing with racism, drugs, or lewd images or language...this business is 50% customer service, we are doing our best to make our company look good. Don't even apply if you use drugs or have an alcohol problem...you know who you are. You will get dirty, wet, hot, and cold. We work in the rain, not down pours. Age requirements 18 to 49 if you have mobility issues or health issues, this probably isn't the job for you. . Please leave your first and last name, age, phone number, and your availability. . Be honest with me. if you need time off, let me know 24 hours ahead of time, so that i have time to line up another assistant. Some of the worst thing's i have ran into are people who call out at the last moment, or guaranteeing me they will be ready in the morning, but change their mind just before work, leaving me no time to find a replacement and having commited the company to jobs that require 2 or more people. . I looking for an immediate hire. this is not a 40 hour a week job, sometimes its just 10 hours a week, but sometimes it's 50 hours. .
