Hello, I am a guitarist in my 60's, been playing for over 40 years now, and am an old rocker from California, who retired and moved here a few years back. I play lead and rhythm and sing backup vocals and some lead vocals. I am retired, have good gear, a new P.A., transportation and a place to rehearse, and am looking for others to put together an old classic rock group. Stuff from the 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's and some newer rock stuff... like from Bonamassa. Blues-Rock genre. Clapton, Trower, Journey, Floyd, Jimi, Montrose, Hagar, AC/DC, Whitesnake, UFO.... You should get the idea by now. I DO know MANY songs from MANY artists from all the years of playing in bands and practicing. I am not a "rock star".... I don't have that mentality, and not looking for others who think they are. Check egos at the door. No heavy drugs either. An occasional smoke, beer, or shot is fine, but not to excess. Looking for others who would like to rock out, play gigs once a month or so as well as private gigs. (not week in and week out.... I have already done that), and have fun. I do have a keyboardist who is interested, as well as a front man, but we'll see what happens... If you're interested, please get back to me, and give me a somewhat detailed description of what you're looking for, and yourself. PLEASE, if you are interested, PLEASE have transportation and gear. At this point in life, I don't have time for talkers, posers, and flakes and I don't want to waste my time, and the time of others. I'd prefer to get others who are retired and available to rehearse during the day, but at this point, we'll see what happens. I tried this last year, and got some good responses, but then Covid hit us all and stopped any and everything in its tracks.... so I am hoping that this year, I will be able to find some good people who are interested and can play.
