We are looking for a strong, energetic, dependable person for ongoing help with yard and garden work for a part-time job that would hopefully continue season after season. Duties include: weeding; digging; hauling; raking; mowing; transplanting; watering; weed whacking; cutting saplings; and mulching. Location is Leeds, MA, on a landscaped property with large flower and vegetable gardens, surrounded by woods.
-6 to 10 hours a week, with flexibility in scheduling. Additional hours may be possible during busy times.
-We provide a respectful, pleasant place to work. We are looking for someone who can arrive on time ready to work, be phone-free except on breaks, and be a non-smoker on premises. Must have reliable transportation, be able to work independently and efficiently, and be able to lift heavy loads (~50 lbs). We are hoping to find someone who enjoys working with us and our land, and who is interested in a dependable, ongoing part-time job for the long term.
-Preference given to those with yard/garden/landscape experience, although we will provide instruction and gardening knowledge to any interested learner.
