Jon Langford & His Fancy Men w/Mock Nine Jon Langford is a founder member of the punk band The Mekons, the post-punk group The Three Johns, and the alternative country ensembles The Waco Brothers and Pine Valley Cosmonauts. Jon’s latest ensemble of his “Fancy Men” includes Al Doughty (Jesus Jones, Waco Brothers, Skull Orchard), John Szymanski (Artistic Associate at Chicago’s Neo-Futurists, Four Lost Souls) and Dan Massey (Robbie Fulks, Waco Bros.) Opening the show is Mock Nine, an Indie Pop/Rock band based in Chicago created by Jon’s son Tommy Langford and Mac Campbell with a sound existing influenced by Indie pop, alt-rock, and modern psychedelic they create music that is unconstrained by genres and conventions. $5 cover at the door.
