FREE USDA Food Boxes and Books courtesy of Open Books and hosted by Teamwork Englewood! Join Teamwork Englewood and Open Books on Saturday, May 22 from 12noon - 2pm in the Teamwork Englewood Plaza located at 815 W. 63rd St. for a Family Food & Books giveaway! Food boxes will be provided by the USDA. They weigh approximately 30lbs. It will be a truck to trunk style giveaway so please accommodate to carry the boxes. Books will be provided by Open Books for all ages! Please register so we can have an accurate count of food boxes and books to giveaway! Teamwork Englewood will be registering those eligible to receive the COVID-19 Vaccine. Residents may also register for vaccination at Oak Street Health: https://www.oakstreethealth.com/covid-19-vaccine Open Books will register families with children ages 0-5 in the Imagination Library program that mails free books monthly to the home.
