Hands-on cooking class accompanied by music* Join us at this special event for some food and music on our Cajun/Creole Weekend. Chef Leslie will be hosting a hands-on cooking class as Mel Melton and Dmitri Resnik of Mel Melton and the Wicked Mojos perform their Zydeco, a music style native to New Orleans. Mel Melton, a native of Gastonia, North Carolina, has a long wrap sheet of experience, not just with music, but with food too! He is the lead of Mel Melton and the Wicked Mojos and owned his own restaurant in Durham, NC, Papa Mojo’s Roadhouse. We are excited to be having live music at this class and hope you can join us in this immersive experience!
