Description
NATICK, MA — A bumpy stretch of Route 9 in Natick will be repaved starting this weekend, according to MassDOT.
A stretch of the road between the Framingham line and Walnut Street has been milled in preparation for the project. MassDOT expects to begin repaving work on Sunday, according to a spokeswoman.
On top of the Route 9 work, MassDOT crews will also repave Speen Street between the Ethan Allen store and south to Hartford Road. The Route 9-Speen Street ramps will also be repaved, according to the state.
The length of Route 9 from Walnuts street to Southborough was last resurfaced about a decade ago under the previous American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) federal stimulus program.
