Description
Dear Editor,
We signed up for Green Consumer Alliance two years ago and have been using 100% wind power for our electricity (delivered by Eversource).
In the upcoming Town Meeting, the town will have the chance to vote on increasing the percentage of our electricity that comes from renewables. I'd like to encourage everyone to vote for the Energy Committee's Warrant Article 21.
If the town goes forward, every residence will be signed up, but have the opportunity to opt out. It may cost a little more, but that will be more than offset by the benefits to the environment. There will be no change in service and you will receive the same detailed bill from Eversource.
I believe this is an easy for us to move towards reducing our collective carbon footprint.
Please consider a Yes vote. Richard White, Bridlefield Lane, Medfield
