Wear clothes you don't mind getting muddy or bloody. Bring a reusable water bottle, drinks or other sustenance. Bring a cooler to take your homework with you along with any other farm fresh goodies you wish to purchase. Then be ready to take charge of your food while becoming more connected to it.
