Join REMIXEcology for National Trails Day on June 5, 2021 Let’s hit the trail! Join us as we release the stressors of the week in the serenity of nature for National Trails Day! We will be hiking in the Woodlands Preserve in Belle Chasse. This is a 5.5 mile hike suitable for all experience levels. Exploring nature restores us mentally and improves our focus and cognition to take on the day. We encourage rest and mindful practices on this hike and ask for limiting stimulants like cell phone usage. We will be maintaining physical distancing as part of COVID restrictions. FAQs What should I expect? This is a beginner hike on a flat dirt/gravel trail. Weather will be monitored and updates about the event will be shared with registered participants. A safety briefing will be conducted prior to the hike. What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event? Transportation will not be provided for this event. There is free parking available at the trailhead. Carpooling is encouraged. Please plan accordingly with timing. Physical Distancing: *All participants must register. Walk ups will not be allowed. Space is very limited to maintain physical distancing measures and masks are required. All participants will be required to sign waivers. What can I bring into the event? Water, snacks, insect repellent and sunscreen Wear breathable athletic wear.
