DANVERS, MA — Danvers residents and visitors are advised to take the long route around Hobart Street this week. The Department of Public Works said crews will be milling and paving Hobart Street from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday. "This will cause traffic congestion," drivers were advised. "Please avoid the area, if possible, and seek alternate routes." The streets scheduled to be worked on over the coming weeks are West Street, Washington Street and the Washington Street extension an area of Pine Street Pentucket Lane, Barker Street and Williams Street. Anyone with questions regarding the spring paving project now or during construction can call 978-762-0231. Did you find this article useful? Invite a friend to subscribe to Patch.
