SIESTA KEY, FL — Local reality show "Siesta Key" returns to MTV for its fourth season Wednesday at 8 p.m. The new season of this summer series focuses on Juliette Porter and Kelsey Owens as they launch their businesses and Brandon's unexpected journey into fatherhood while he continues to work on his music career, according to a news release from MTV. Other storylines include Chloe Trautman's spiritual journey, Maddison Hausburg's preparation for her upcoming wedding, Amanda Miller's focus on her filmmaking career and Garrett Miller's new relationship. At the heart of the show is the relationship between ex-best friends Porter and Owens, competing entrepreneurs who have each launched their own swimwear and beach apparel lines, JMP the Label and By Kelsey Owens, respectively. She claims her former best friend was jealous of her new boyfriend. Owens said that's not the case and the truth will be revealed in "Siesta Key" season four. "Definitely you'll see a point where I was just, like, 'Wow, like, this is what it's come to.' And so that kind of sucks," she told Us. "I'm dreading having to, like, relive all of that and watch that. But I don't know, at this point I'm just — I truly do, like, wish her the best and that's that." This season will also see Trautman's departure from the show. In January, she announced she was leaving the series on social media after filming ended, People reported. "I decided to take a step back from filming because it became extremely toxic," she wrote. "I am unwilling to put my journey and my happiness of the line for fame and money. You all will have clarity when the show airs. Now please stop spreading lies."
