Conversation and Compline Outdoors, weather permitting, on the evening of May 21, 2021 at 6:30pm. Outdoor childcare will be provided. Gorgeous weather (yes, even I have been ‘outside’ voluntarily), public health rules changing for the better allowing more socialization, growing numbers of vaccinations...many, many things are looking up, thanks be to God! And,oddly enough, with many things improving in our communal quality of life, that also often brings up grief over what was lost for over a year, and frustration that things are not (and may never be) back to ‘normal’ as we once knew it. Every wound needs a witness, and that witness is part of a healthy and thriving church body. To give our church family an opportunity to hold sacred space around the many thoughts and feelings brought on by the tragedy of the pandemic, we will have an evening service, Conversation and Compline, outdoors, weather permitting, on the evening of May 21, 2021 at 6:30pm. Outdoor childcare will be provided. (Again, weather permitting). This service is exactly what it sounds like...a chance to tell our stories, hear of resources, and pray for one another and the world in this time of transition.
