Perry County Bicentennial Concert featuring Perry County native, country music star and Grand Ole' Opry Chris Janson. Perry County is turning 200! In celebration of this momentous milestone, the community is putting together a community concert featuring the pride of Perry County, country music sensation and Grand Ole Opry Member Chris Janson. The one- night show will be held in conjuncture with the annual Seminary Picnic. The country star is a platinum-selling recording artist, high-octane entertainer, multi-instrumentalist, and an award-winning singer/songwriter. In the five years since the release of his debut album, the three-time Country Music Association (CMA) nominee has collected prestigious accolades that place him amongst country music greats. He took home the trophy for Academy of Country Music (ACM) ‘Video of the Year’ for his gold-certified, hit song “Drunk Girl,” which also earned the ‘Song of the Year’ title at the 2018 MusicRow Awards and was named one of the “Ten Songs I Wish I’d Written” by Nashville Songwriter Association International (NSAI). His chart-topping, triple-platinum smash “Buy Me A Boat” earned the same NSAI honor, making him one in a handful of the industry’s most elite artists to earn the title multiple times, as well as the iHeartRadio Music Awards ‘Country Song of the Year’. Grand Ole Opry member Janson has four No. 1 hits including multi-week chart topper “Done”, “Good Vibes,” “Fix a Drink”, “Buy Me a Boat and award-winning “Drunk Girl” . Ticket Policy: 1. Individuals entering the Seminary Picnic Grounds venue do so at their own risk. No liability is assumed by owners, managers, officers, agents, employees, promoters, sponsors, or any other individuals or entities associated with the event. 2. All sales are final. There are no refunds or exchanges under any circumstances, except the COVID-19 Pandemic. The only exception to our refund/exchange policy is a full-event cancellation due to the COVID-19 pandemic, at which time, ticket holders will be granted a full refund. No other refunds or exchanges will be granted under any circumstances. Artists are subject to change. Perry County Heritage Tourism is not responsible for lost, stolen, or forgotten tickets. 3. To gain entry, you must present a valid ticket or QR code from a mobile device. Your QR code is delivered in your email confirmation from Eventbrite. Upon validation of your ticket, a wristband will be placed upon your wrist by the event staff should you need to exit the concert area for re-entry. Tickets deemed not valid will not be honored under any circumstance. It is the responsibility of the ticket holder to ensure the security and validity of their ticket. 4. Perry County Heritage Tourism reserves the right to refuse and/or revoke any ticketed admission without refund, or cancel any purchased ticket order before the event with a refund. 5. Tickets obtained from outlets other than Perry County Heritage Tourism, EventBrite or its Bicentennial sponsors will not be honored. It is unlawful to obtain admission by fraud. All such admissions or attempted admissions will be prosecuted. 7. Ticket sales close at 5pm on August 8, 2021. 8. Gates close 30 minutes after the start of the headlining artist. 9. All artists and times of performances are subject to change and/or cancellation without further notice. 10. Have your ID with you at all times. You will need it to purchase alcohol or enter certain areas. Perry County Heritage Tourism has zero-tolerance for underage drinking. 11. Everyone including their personal belongings is subject to search at any point at the Seminary Picnic Grounds venue. Metal detectors may be used to search guest at time of entry. Guns, knives, and other weapons are prohibited. No coolers are allowed. 12. Glass containers are NOT allowed. 13. No outside alcohol is permitted on the Seminary Picnic Grounds. 14. Items confiscated by security will not be returned under any circumstances. 15. No party is allowed to reproduce, print, sell, promote, give away, or solicit ANY items or property that bear the name(s) or logo(s) of the Perry County Heritage Tourism, AND/OR THE ENTERTAINERS, IN WHOLE OR PART. Offenders of Trademark rights and jurisdictions and will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Perry County Heritage Tourism reserves the right to confiscate ALL contraband items. 16. No professional recording (photo, audio, video) equipment is allowed. No drones. No detachable zoom lenses, tripods, or other commercial equipment is allowed without express written consent from Perry County Heritage Tourism management. 17. Absolutely no firearms of any kind are allowed with or without a permit. No knives or weapons of any kind are allowed inside the venue itself. 18. Pets are not allowed anywhere on the Seminary Picnic grounds or parking areas. 19. Please be advised that by attending the event you are implicitly agreeing that Perry County Heritage Tourism may use any photos of you for promotional purposes whether taken by our photographers or shared by other patrons. Perry County Heritage Tourism may use photos on our website, social media, TV spots, or any printed materials. 20. Any violation of the above policies will result in having your ticket revoked and immediate removal from the Seminary Picnic Grounds without a refund. Unlawful offenders will be turned over to Law Enforcement and will be subject to a fine(s) according to state and local ordinances. NO FOOD OR BEVERAGE CARRY-INS ALLOWED ON SEMINARY PICNIC GROUNDS. NO PROFESSIONAL VIDEO EQUIPMENT ALLOWED ON SEMINARY PICNIC GROUNDS. YOU WILL BE SUBJECT TO SEARCH AT THE GATES. Perry County Heritage Tourism reserves the right to modify these terms at any time.
