A 31-year-old Glen Burnie man has been arrested in relation to a rape that occurred last week in a parking lot by dumpsters, according to Anne Arundel County police officers. The victim, a woman, told Anne Arundel County police officers that she had arranged a ride and was picked up by a man in the 800 block of Elkridge Landing Rd., Linthicum, according to Kristin Danley-Greiner. (Patch) 2. A winning lottery ticket worth $1 million was sold May 7 at the Giant located at 6626 North Ritchie Highway. As of May 10, no one had claimed the winnings, reports Kristin Danley-Greiner. (Patch) 3. The controversially named George Fox Middle School in neighboring Pasadena has been renamed. The Anne Arundel County Board of Education approved the name change at a recent meeting, Jacob Baumart reports. (Patch) 4. Blood donations are desperately needed in Glen Burnie right now.
