Press release from the City of Roanoke: Posted on: May 11, 2021 The regular meeting of the Mill Mountain Advisory Board will not be held in May. The next meeting is scheduled for July 14 at 4 p.m., at Mill Mountain Discovery Center, 2000 L.B. Fishburn Parkway S.W. The Mill Mountain Advisory Board acts in an advisory capacity to advise City Council regarding: Appropriate maintenance and improvements of Mill Mountain Park; Conservation, preservation, or development proposals that may be presented to City Council regarding the conservation easement property that may be permitted pursuant to the terms of the conservation easement; Amendments that may be proposed to be made to the conservation easement that are presented to Council; and Proposed development that may be presented to City Council within the excluded property, unless City Council creates an Ad Hoc Committee.
