Information via City of Stamford STAMFORD, CT—The paving of the intersection of West Avenue and West Main Street will begin next week weather permitting, according to an announcement from the City of Stamford. Milling will take place Tuesday, May 18 and Wednesday, May 19 with paving on Thursday, May 20 into Friday, May 21. All work will be done between 7 p.m. – 6 a.m. Residents should expect delays, seek alternative routes, and slow down in work zones.
