Woodbridge's COVID Cases Continue To Steadily Drop

WOODBRIDGE, NJ — Woodbridge's coronavirus case numbers continue to plummet, as last week the Township recorded less than 100 cases-a-week for the first time in nearly six months. Over the Mother's Day weekend, Woodbridge recorded only 32 new cases of coronavirus from the general public. Last week in total, there were 92 total cases for the entire Township, said Mayor John McCormac. Compare that to mid-January, when Woodbridge had four individual days with more than 92 cases each day. "So this is a welcome relief," he said McCormac. There are also no new cases reported in Woodbridge nursing homes, and no deaths to report. Also, regarding vaccines: "We have plenty of doses and not enough people to fill the slots," said McCormac.
