Join Chef Randy as a Junior Chef for MCC Chopped Jr.! Create meals from scratch using mystery ingredients. Tweens and Teens join up with MCC Chef Randy to make a meal from ingredients that kids have chosen. Kids will choose any one food item/ingredient at time of booking/reservation. Total of 8 kids will pick a total of 8 ingredients. When kids arrive, the 8 ingredients will be presented. Participants will not know what the other kids have selected at time of choosing. Kids will then work with Chef to develop a recipe/menu or dish, based on the 8 ingredients and will then begin hands-on cooking. The kids will be required to eat whatever they make and critique at the end of the session. For Children 9 yrs. Old to 13 yrs. old When: Saturdays, March 13, 2021, April 24, 2021, May 22, 2021, June 19, 2021 from 11am-2pm. Where: Miramar Cultural Center Banquet Hall | 2400 Civic Center Place Participant Fee/Ticket Price: $20.00 per child, per class.
