Join us outdoors under The Garden's Pavilion and create your own beautiful, spring mosaic art to enjoy for years to come. Get ready to DIY! In this hands-on event* at The Botanic Garden, you'll get everything you need to make a springtime masterpiece in glass. Learn the steps and follow along to create a 5" x 5" work in a spring theme. (Or if you'd prefer to create your own design, the sky's the limit!) The class fee includes ALL materials needed to create your finished piece, but feel free to bring that special piece of glass or china from home to include in your work. Our instructor will be on-hand to provide guidance and help with small cuts to any extra glass, as needed. Note: Since your mosaic will need 24 hours to dry completely before grouting, you'll be shown a how-to demo and given a small bag of grout to take home with you. **To allow for material gathering and preparation, registration closes on May 27th.** About our Instructor Deyar Jamil studied mosaic art at the Chicago Mosaic School while also serving on the board of directors. She works in primarily glass-on-wood or glass-on-glass, with her designs based on elements of nature. Tickets are limited!
