Support PG&E transmission and/or distribution resources executing inspection and repair work through Northern California. Office will be co-located at Investor-owned Utility Facility and remote field/yard work may be required supporting outside line crews. Provides variety of support, administrative, and operational tasks. Deals with a diverse group of employees, external callers and Utility customer interactions. Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize and organize diversified workload.
Knowledge of:
• Proposals, bid presentations, pre-qualifications, and change orders.
• Possible submittals, RFI’s and RFQ’s. WO Processing.
• Construction job package data.
• SAP financial software.
• Inspection and repair work for IOU companies.
• Administrative support for construction.
• Construction material ordering and estimating.
• Departmental scheduling and project budgeting.
• Standard office equipment and procedures.
Experience
• Two to three years’ work experience in administrative and/or construction management roles.
• Electric transmission or distribution construction industry experience is highly desired.
Education
• High School graduate or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Business, and/or relevant technical degree is preferred.
