Skilled Construction Technician - Commercial/Retail/Grocery/Office Looking for a Lead Carpenter with at least 3 years of experience Bilingual English / Spanish a plus but not mandatory. POSITION SUMMARY The construction technician is responsible for performing basic construction trades for example: demolition, concrete, framing, drywall work, painting, plumbing, flooring and tile work. Compensation based on experience. SPECIFIC DUTIES/JOB REQUIREMENTS: Must maintain valid California Driver's License and vehicle insurance at all times Must have reliable transportation and basic carpentry tools. Strong working knowledge of job site safety as well as ability to complete a company specific safety orientation Ability to follow directions and perform quality work. · Punctual, self-starter, capable of working with a team, or working alone on individual tasks. · Collaborate with Project Manager on projects. Communicate daily progress reports. Operate power tools and hand tools Work off scaffolding and ladders Keeps accurate count of all materials taken to site, installed, and returned to the warehouse. Maintain safety, professionalism, and cleanliness of job sites. Represent the values of the Company at all times. Presentable, and possess the ability to communicate with customers, other sub- contractors and management. Ability to work overtime and or on call as workload and emergency issues dictate Maintain inventory, equipment and vehicles.
