Express Professionals is currently looking for experienced Auto Detailers and Car Wash Attendants for a dealership in the Watsonville area. Qualifications · Valid driver’s license · Must be at least 19 years of age. · Clean driving record. · Ability to drive a manual transmission. · Previous auto detailing experience 2 + years is preferred (Backgrounds in washing small and large vehicles, buffing and waxing body paint, shampooing carpets and rugs, cleaning interior trim (Plastic, Vinyl, Leather etc.), and cleaning rims. · Excellent customer service and communication skills. · Ability to follow instructions. Duties: · Performs a variety of vehicle cleaning tasks such as (But not limited to) washing, polishing, buffing, interior cleaning, scrubbing, vacuuming, and window cleaning. · Cleans upholstery, rugs, and other surfaces, using cleaning agents, applicators, and cleaning devices. · Applies revitalizers and preservatives agents to vinyl or leather surfaces and treats fabrics with spot and stain resistant agents. · Cleans engine and engine compartment with steam cleaning equipment and various cleaning agents. · Inspect quality of work performed to ensure guest satisfaction. · Park and retrieve vehicles. · Assists in all other areas of the department, as needed. · Maintains assigned workspace in an organized and clean manner. Physical requirements · Standing on a regular basis. · Walking on a regular basis. · Bending, twisting and/or stooping on a regular basis. · Kneeling and/or squatting on a regular basis · Lift up to 50 pounds. · Reaching and/or lifting overhead on a regular basis. · Grasping/grabbing with hands on a regular basis. · Pushing and pulling on a regular basis.
