We Welcome Your Heart of Service! San Francisco Night Ministry's phone line known as the "Care Line" provides non-judgmental, compassionate listening on any topic, crisis counseling, and spiritual care every day from 8pm to 4am PST. Care Line Counselors come from many faith traditions and spiritual backgrounds and help people make meaning for themselves in line with their own understanding of reality. San Francisco Night Ministry is Currently accepting applications for the Summer 2021 Care Line Counselor Cohort. Applications must be received by 5/18/21 to be considered. There may be a short follow-up interview. Training runs from 5/20/21 - 5/31/21. It is expected that volunteers will serve 3 shifts a month for one year after completion of training. CLCs volunteer from home. They can be located anywhere in the world. Though we are San Francisco based, we have CLCs from as far away as Hawaii and Germany.
