Older guitarist looking for Jazz drummer Older guitarist here, just had my shots and looking to jam out with a jazz capable drummer, kick around some loose covers, try out some new/old ideas, flip through the Real Book, see where it goes. I’ve been playing a Strat for years but feel like breaking out my old jazz guitar for some variety. I’m an intermediate level player at best, with occasional creative moments. I enjoy the usual 60’s souljazz, Brazilian jazz, plus Wayne Shorter tunes. His compositions were way ahead of their time. I have a place to jam plus a courtesy kit. If it clicks, maybe we can do some low key locals, no world tours though, haha.
