Marigold school has openings for the Fall. I am offering a nature-based program, with a focus on play, adventures in art, and science. In this rich and nurturing environment children can create their own learning and build connections with other children. We have a mixed age group currently, and I’m looking to invite some three and four-year-olds to join us. The program runs from 9 to 2:30 Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesdays. The program is mostly outdoors with an inside space available also. The large permaculture garden space is our science lab and contains bees, fruit trees, veggies, tons of flowers and guinea pigs. The group is small - 9 maximum, so it’s a sweet connected community. We practice COVID safety precautions and the school has a deep clean on the days it is closed. I have over 30 years of teaching experience in the preschool setting. I see learning as a journey and enjoy learning alongside the children I work with. It’s wonderful to teach surrounded by nature in my own backyard.
