On this walking tour, our local guide will highlight newly finished developments, exciting projects in the works and neighborhood artists. *REQUIRED: A mask, a fully charged phone, and a pair of headphones compatible with your mobile device. Let the Detroit Experience Factory show you all the great history in Detroit’s Oldest Neighborhood, as well as highlight newly finished developments, exciting projects in the works and some of the BIPOC entrepreneurs and artists working in the neighborhood. We’re sure you’ve driven up Michigan Avenue, and have maybe even seen a game or grabbed a bite near The Corner, but what’s new in Corktown? COVID PRECAUTIONS: Masks are required to attend this experience. In order to adhere to social distancing guidelines, we will be utilizing Zoom technology throughout the tour. Please plan to bring a fully charged phone and a pair of headphones compatible with your mobile device. CHECK-IN: The tour begins promptly at the start time. Please arrive 5 minutes prior to the start of the tour and check in with your guide who will be wearing a blue Detroit Experience Factory t-shirt. PARKING: There is a parking lot at the starting point or street parking nearby. Use of public transportation is also encouraged as an alternative. TICKETING: No need to print your ticket. Arrive a few minutes early to check-in and give the guide your name. That's it! If your plans change and you can't make it, please cancel your booking to open up your spot to another participant.
