Press release from the Southern California PGA Foundation: May 10, 2021 Southern California PGA Foundation and The Haley Moore Foundation are extremely proud to present the Inaugural Fore Youth Pro-Am - Presented by The Shiley Foundation | Mark & Teresa King, taking place at Pauma Valley Country Club on Monday, May 10, 2021. The Pro-Am will bring together professionals and amateurs from some of the top clubs in Southern California to achieve one goal - to raise money to support and empower local youth through the SCPGA Foundation's ClubsForeYouth program and the Haley Moore Foundation's anti-bullying programming. Haley Moore, an alumnus of the SCPGA Junior Tour, has been featured across the golf media spectrum as a child of bullying who fought her way through the shaming to secure her LPGA card on her first attempt and become the youngest athlete to sign with PXG to date. Her illustrious junior and collegiate career featured the 2018 NCAA Women's Golf Championship, numerous junior championships as a member of the SCPGA Junior Tour and AJGA. She won three (3) individual titles at the University of Arizona, finished 1st Team All-Pac 12, and First Team All American. She was the 2019 Women's California State Open Champion and is a 3x winner on the Cactus Tour. In 2015, she competed in the ANA Inspiration as a 16 year old and finished in a tie for 67th. Haley recently qualified for the 2021 US Women's Open at Olympic Club. Haley Moore Foundation's mission is to utilize her platform as an LPGA Tour golfer to raise awareness that anyone can achieve any goal they place before themselves. Life is hard. Growing up is hard. In 2017, the Southern California PGA created ClubsForeYouth ® to provide local student-athletes with adequate resources needed to experience important recreational opportunities at high schools throughout Southern California. Since inception, the SCPGA Foundation has contributed 700 sets of brand new golf equipment to 100 high schools in lower income areas. Pauma Valley Country Club has hosted Challenge Golf of Shell's Wonderful World of Golf, been listed as a Top 100 club in the U.S. and Top Ten club in California by Golf Digest, hosted the US Open qualifier many times, and have hosted many other high-profile golf events.
