Maintenance Technician For Multi Family Housing

We are looking for a motivated, self-starter to handle maintenance for our Shelton apartment building! Maintenance Team Members are responsible for: -Maintaining the physical condition and appearance of the property (grounds, internal, exterior) -Timely work request service, quality turnover / make-ready schedule -Diagnosing and performing minor and routine maintenance/repairs in a timely and professional manner -Assuring all service requests are completed on a daily basis -Performing effective emergency maintenance (after hours) as required -Effectively coordinating and communicating with the on-site property manager, as well as the maintenance manager -Building relationships with local vendors -Painting per turnovers or property needs -Electrical wiring per service requests or turnovers -Construction per service request or turnovers -Janitorial duties per service request or property needs -Landscaping as needed per property needs/schedule Requirements for this position include: -Minimum of 2 years experience in property maintenance or equivalent -High school diploma or equivalent -Valid driver's license -Authorized to work in the US -Resume required with references and cover letter -Must pass pre-employment criminal background check -Must be able to provide a driving abstract with insurable record Qualifications -Effective conflict resolution -Customer service -Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines -Strong attention to detail -Dependable availability -Strong, clear communication skills -Basic knowledge of computers and web-based programs -Personal accountability -Problem solving Schedule -Part time 20-25 hours per week -On-call availability required - including nights and weekends (on a rotation with other techs) Rate of Pay -Competitive Pay Based on Experience Physical aspects of the job are: -Heavy lifting and carrying (50lbs+) -Bending / kneeling / stooping -Climbing and balancing -Inside and outside work environment - including all weather conditions as needed -Competitive wage plus benefits, as well as a positive, team-oriented work environment!
