The Davis Street Community Center Incorporated (Davis Street) has responded to the needs of San Leandro’s most vulnerable families to survive and flourish. Davis Street has become a key leader in guiding its client-families out of poverty and into productive lives. Davis Street service matrix includes child care, medical care, COVID-19 vaccines and testing, dental services, women’s services, behavioral health supportive services, family and domestic abuse counseling, emergency food, clothing, housing assistance, utilities support, and various programs for adults living with developmental disabilities.
The addition of a full-service primary health clinic provides a One-Stop Umbrella Center for the disenfranchised, the working poor and those populations most in need of a helping hand, who live in and around San Leandro, an opportunity to move forward in their lives and become contributing residents of the area.
