The World’s #1 STEM/STEAM enrichment program by Franchise Magazine and an international STEAM and 21st Century Skills-Building program, is hiring Instructors for onsite Summer Camps from mid-June to mid-August. We are looking for Instructors who are reliable, fun-loving, energetic, outgoing, and HAVE EXPERIENCE in TEACHING elementary and middle school-aged kids. Teaching credential is desirable, but not required. Ideal for coaches, teachers (substitute, floater and retired), college or graduate students who want extra income this summer. Instructors will use our proprietary lesson plans and will be provided materials for daily camps. Number of students varies from camp to camp (at least 10 kids, ages 6 to 13). Camp locations may vary from week to week. Reliable transportation is a must. Lengths of camps are 3 hours a day and are scheduled in the morning and/or afternoon. Some camps meet daily while others meet every other day. Responsibilities: Pick up materials for assigned camp(s) to bring to camp location.Set-up, organize and manage camp classroom.Implement lesson plans. Follow Challenge Island’s and camp facility’s COVID-19 guidelines (mask, social distance, hand washing/sanitizing, disinfecting).Ensure campers’ safety and overall fun!
