JOLIET, IL — Joliet police arrested a 46-year-old far west side resident Monday night after police say she stabbed a man who lives inside her house located in Kendall County. Lartees Broyles was arrested and taken to the Kendall County Jail on charges of aggravated domestic battery and domestic battery, police reports show. Joliet police were called Broyles' house around 10:25 p.m. It's in the 2000 block of Ashbrook Court, which is west of County Line Road. "During an argument, Broyles approached the victim with a large knife in her hand," Joliet police said. "The victim attempted to flee into a bathroom, at which time Broyles struck the door with the knife. The victim was able to flee to a different part of the house. Broyles began swinging the knife at the victim and stabbed him twice on the left arm, causing minor injuries.": Joliet officers arrested Broyles without any problems, police said.
