SOLON, OH — The City of Solon is looking for someone passionate about his or her community to fill the role of director of planning and community development.
The full time director will be responsible for managing and supervising the planning and community development department and will oversee planning, building, construction management, GIS and zoning enforcement, according to the job listing.
To qualify, an applicant must have a master's degree in a related field, six years of progressively responsible supervisory experience and 10 years of experience in urban planning.
The position's salary range is from $87,719.27 to $109,649.09, according to the city. Applications will continue to be accepted through June 11.
