AURORA, IL—Getting stopped by the police won't necessarily be a bad thing this week in Aurora as police officers will be scouring the street for acts of kindness, and providing handsome rewards. The city's Community Oriented Policing Unit has teamed-up with Dino Safari to recognize the good deeds of kids throughout the city. Get spotted doing something kind, and you could be on your way to mingle with more than 40 life-sized dinosaurs currently roaming around the Fox Valley Mall parking lot. From the safety of your own vehicle you'll get to see earthquakes waiting to erupt, dinosaurs preparing for battle, and a baby dinosaur that needs your saving as part of the Dino Safari adventure. The event runs until May 23, but the opportunity to win tickets ends Friday. Tours take between 40 and 60 minutes. If you don't snag a free ticket, you can still attend. Tickets are $49.95/car with up to seven occupants and $54.95 for large-capacity vehicles with eight or more occupants. These prices do not include taxes or fees. The event takes place at the Fox Valley Mall, 195 Fox Valley Center Drive, Aurora.
