Press release from the West Islip School District: May 10, 2021 In celebration of Earth Day, students at West Islip's Beach Street Middle Schoolcreated chandelier sculptures out of repurposed water bottles, in the style of artist DaleChihuly. "These sculptures are a beautiful addition to our Beach Street lobby," art teacher Jill Culver said. "It remains a perfect reminder of students working together to help the environment for the greater good, while making the world a more beautiful place."
