TUCSON, AZ — A 24-year old man died Sunday afternoon in an auto crash, Tucson police said. Dennis Edward Agnew was killed in the crash just after 1 p.m. at the intersection of west Prince Road and north Romero Road, according to police. Agnew was the passenger in a white Ford F-150 pickup truck that was struck by a black Jeep Cherokee SUV while making a left turn from Romero Road onto Prince Road, police said. The drivers of the pickup and the black Jeep Cherokee SUV were both injured in the crash, police said. No charges or arrests were made in connection with the crash, according to police The Jeep Cherokee was traveling faster than the posted speed limit on north Romero Road when the crash occurred, according to police. The pickup was turning left on a passive green light, police said. Neither driver was impaired at the time of the crash, and the Ford pickup's failure to yield and Jeep Cherokee's excessive speed are considered the major factors in the crash, police said.
