ROCKVILLE CENTRE, NY — The Rockville Centre Union Free School District has proposed a budget of $124 million, an increase of $1.3 million from the 2020-2021 budget. However, there is no hike in the tax levy. The budget translates to $35,000 per student, according to the school district. Overall, 58 percent would go toward salaries. The proposed budget sets aside $900,000 for upgrades and repairs, the school district said on its website.
