We were a Rock Cover band that was ready to EXPLODE into the DC Metro Rock scene, then COVID… Singer, Guitarist, Bass (3) over 50, other guitarist and old drummer 30s (not “boomers”). Currently Drummer too busy with new job, hoping Fall, understands us looking. I (founder / lead singer / gig getter) refuse to move on with anyone less talented. We need a local, hard rocking jazz drummer who can do John Bonham & Keith Moon to the “simple” groove of Charlie Watts / Radar Love -- and every rock groove below. Our genre was originally solely hit rock-covers-songs that chics dig and that people can white-boy dance to. We found that rocking some Who, Zeppelin, and Aerosmith went over very, very well, so now that too!! Proof of COVID shot required. We are/were looking to gig once to twice a month. If you want to gig every weekend or need to be in other band(s) for your fix, you are not a fit. Weekend conflicts were already enough of a headache, don’t need drummer with other band gig conflicts. Also, this was FINALLY as fun band of talented people. Drama / pushy / alpha-B.S. will not be tolerated, REQUIREMENT: Please send video / audio proof you are capable of what you say you are. No video proof, don’t bother to reply. Frankly speaking, I’d like “tryouts” to be filming yourself playing drums with Led Zeppelin on The Ocean, Won't Get Fooled Again with the Who, and sample of “getting” the groove of Radar Love. Maybe another song or two. If don’t know ‘em, a long enough sample to see you are great but will need to show up live knowing them.
