Barbox is a professional mobile bar & bartending company. We provide full bar setups for weddings, private events, and festivals. We provide full time bartending and provide all insurance, permitting, glassware, and alcohol + mixers. In addition, we have a unique mobile horse trailer bar that can be utilized for outdoor events/setups. We are a promising startup team in the NC events industry that is excited to deliver value to all customers and partners. Our goal is to hire a stellar team to become the #1 event bartending and staffing provider in NC. Website: Instagram: **Job Brief** Barbox is looking for a professional, high-energy bartender with excellent communication skills to serve beer, wine, classic cocktails to our customers. The bartender will greet customers, learn about their preferences, answer questions, recommend menu items, and prepare and serve beverages and food. This role will be part-time (when events are booked) and schedules will be sent out a month in advance of events. As a Barbox bartender you should be efficient, observant, knowledgeable, and personable. You will also report to the Lead Bar Manager who will assign you tasks for pre-event setup, event responsibilities, and post-event cleanup. You will help make Barbox the #1 bartending service in North Carolina. **Responsibilities** - Interface with guests and maintain a fun, safe atmosphere for patrons and staff - Help with pre-event setup, engage in bartending/service, and clean up/breakdown - Ensure compliance with insurance, legal, health and safety obligations - Checking identification to ensure customers are the legal age to purchase alcohol. - Adhering to all food safety and quality regulations. - Maintaining a clean work and event area by removing trash, refilling, and washing glasses, utensils, and equipment. - Quickly understand event bar menu and take ownership on delivering good experience to all clients **Requirements** - Proven experience as a bartender and/or bar manager - Additional education, training, certificates, or experience may be required - Meets state minimum age to serve alcohol - Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays - Positive, engaging personality, and professional appearance - Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills - Strong task and time management abilities - Eye for detail and understanding of drink mixing tools and techniques. - Ability to stand, walk, bend, etc for extended periods, and lift up to 25 lbs **Compensation & Benefits:** This position pays an hourly rate. Hourly rate based on experience and eligible for tips during events.
