Topeka-based, HempFusion is a nationwide leader and provider of CBD products available across the U.S. The Warehouse Support Team Member is responsible for pulling and preparing orders for shipment, as well as managing the data entry necessary to complete each order’s paperwork. They are also responsible for helping to keep the warehouse space neat and orderly. This may involve moving inventory and helping with team reorganization efforts. It may also involve more routine cleaning and maintenance duties, as determined by the needs of the day and assigned by your supervisor or team leader. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced, detail-oriented, and active environment. The candidate will work in a temperature-controlled warehouse (we keep our products cold). This position will also require the candidate to be on their feet for most of the day; standing, walking, reaching, stooping, and using ladders and pallet jacks occasionally. Duties Include: - Follow company packing procedures and standards. - Handle inventory with care and attention to detail. - Adhere to safety programs and OSHA compliance for a safe work environment. - Follow company safety policies and procedures, and encourage other associates to do the same. - Ensure product orders are packed and moved carefully. - Work at different stations as production requires. - Inspect, weigh, and package products. - Monitor flow of product into processing machinery. - Verify compliance with quality, safety, production standards, work rules, and efficient operation of equipment. - Report potential production downtime, scrap production, and quality of each machine and summarize data from the shift. - Maintain a clean and safe work environment. - Other duties as assigned. Core Competencies and Experience - High school diploma or GED - At least 18 years old - Able to lift up to 50 pounds - Able to stand up to 4 hours at a time - Demonstrated ability to operate machinery - Detail-oriented - Emotionally intelligent and able to resolve conflict in a timely and mature manner - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail - Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills, we help each other - Excellent time management skills - Experience working in a manufacturing environment, helpful Physical Demands - Must be able to complete various activities in the warehouse that may require hours of lifting, standing, and carrying. - Must be able to move up to 50 pounds at a time. Tools & Equipment Used Frequently uses warehouse equipment such as ladders, stairs, pallet jacks, pallet scales, forklifts, scanners, computers Work Environment Work is performed primarily in a cold warehouse setting The noise level in the work environment moderately noisy. Pay and Benefits This is a full-time position, paying $13-$15/hr with benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, HSA/FSA, Accident Insurance, Short Term Disability, Life Insurance, 9 Paid Holidays + 2 Floating Holidays, 40 hrs Sick Time Annually).
