Description
Hello!
After several years of meaningless "dabbling", I want to take the guitar seriously. I stopped trying to copy my favorite songs and started trying to teach myself theory and the foundational stuff that lets you grow and break out of the rut. I just never have had friends or others to jam/practice with. I feel like this is the best way to learn and grow. I can sing baritone sorta. I will let you be the judge of that :)
I enjoy all genres but really want to focus on country, blues, southern rock, funk, or any style that really focuses on that good, clean sound. I have an acoustic and an electric, but lately I have been focusing on the electric for chicken pickin' and blues theory. I have a full-time day job and a night side job but will make time for serious people who want to play and and just have fun. I do enjoy good people and a good time along with some dirty jokes or ball busting, or convos about interesting things. My house is kinda small but would entertain a night or two at my house for jam sessions.
I am a young early 40s but am super-active and get along with all ages. I am fully vaccinated and prefer the same. No drugs or smoking.
I am easy-going and don't really get into politics. Any age, race, color, or gender is cool with me! If we meet and don't connect, no worries. Good chemistry is a part of playing together.
Artist inspirations: SRV, Los Lonely Boys, Santana, Brad Paisley, BB King, Brent Mason, Johnny Cash, Queen, Stevie Wonder, Dire Straits, etc
