Honey Palette Bakery is Hiring for a Farmers Market Sales Associate. Come join us for the PSU Farmers Market and other events throughout the Summer. Honey Palette is a wholesale paleo bakery (free from gluten, grains, dairy, sugar, and soy) that specializes in decadent cakes and donuts. We sell wholesale to various cafes and grocery stores, and farmers markets and events. We are quickly growing as a small business, and looking for new employees to be a part of our exciting growth. We are looking for 1-2 people for 10-20 hrs weekly to work the PSU Farmers Market on Saturdays, and the occasional Sunday market. $15-18/hr plus tips and farmers market trades. (We will also have more hours available if desired for other various jobs, such as deliveries.) Job Requirements: · Available to work on Saturdays and/or Sundays from 7AM to 3:00PM (preferably through October but the summer is okay!) · Truly enjoys customer service and engaging with the general public. Our customers love our products and are very excited for them! · Have a genuine interest in health and wellness. · Have retail or customer service experience with sales. · Strong organizational skills and communication, and the ability to work with a team. · Able to work outside in any weather conditions. Ability to stand for up to 8-hr shift. · Ability to lift 50lbs. Loading/unloading at the commercial kitchen/market and setting up. · Have a reliable vehicle that can hold a large 10x10 tent and coolers. (wagons and small SUV's usually suffice) · Are responsible, respectful, thoughtful, and kind.
